Last 2nd May 2008, I experienced the same thing. On that day, I and my husband planned to shop at Milimewa and Pasar Sin Onn Tawau. The road was heavily traffic jammed and my husband was making a U-turn heading to the Milimewa Supermarket. At that time, the rosary made a slight knocking noise but not as loud as my last experience before.

I was curious on how the rosary made the noise. So, I hold it and tried to mildly shake it to produce the knocking noise. Then, our car made a loud noise, maybe from the engine. My husband found out that it was from the car air-cond and he turned off the air-cond. I quickly asked my husband to cancel the plan to shop at Milimewa Supermarket and go directly to the Proton Service Centre to have a check. The mechanic at the workshop have checked it, but couldn’t repair it and asked us to go to the air-cond specialist. So, we went to the aircond specialist but couldn’t also repair it and asked us to go to other aircond specialist. When we arrive to the other aircond specialist, the loud noise is gone, the mechanic checks it and confirms that there is nothing wrong. We were very surprised to know that there was nothing wrong.

I realized that, this is the Lord’s willing. He maybe not want us to go to Milimewa and Pasar Sin Onn because He doesn’t want something bad happened to us. After that, we went home directly and on the way back, a bus was skidded to the roadside drain. Thank you, Lord, You take care of us. Until now, the air-cond is still in good condition and no bad noises.

Real Experience 16 April 2008

On last 16th April 2008 ago, I went to Proton Service Centre, Jalan Apas Tawau to check-up my car. During the check-up, I brought along the mechanic to test drive and asked him to hear the unpleasant noise of my car. Then, after I drove about 600 meters, I sent the mechanic back to the workshop and assured to his explanation.

After that, I drove back and made a U-turn to Bandar Tawau at Mile 3 Jalan Apas-Tawau. I took the right lane before I pass the SMK Titingan junction, suddenly a lorry came out from that junction and directly turn to the right lane without even realizing me at the same lane. I couldn’t stop my car as to avoid accident. I quickly press the horn to alert the lorry driver, and just after about 15 seconds, the lorry driver turn to the left lane. Maybe the lorry driver didn’t notice the horn was coming from my car. Because of the lorry, I almost hit the road divider and the lamp post. At that time, I thought that it was my last breathe. I felt very scared and sad that I maybe couldn’t celebrate my husband’s birthday.

Suddenly, during the encounter, the rosary which was attached to the rear mirror made a loud knocking noise and swayed to left and right. The knocking noise continued alerting me until the situation is safe. At first I didn’t realize where the noise came, only when I drove further then I realize the noise came from the rosary. It stop making noise after the situation is safe. Thank God, Praise the Lord. Those words came out from my mouth repeatedly as my tears went down for thankfulness. I believe that through the rosary, the Lord have saved my life. The rosary was never made a loud knocking noise before even when I drove the car through the gravel road.

For additional information, the rosary was hand made by me and was blessed by Rev. Fr. Jasery Emmanuel on the 29th March 2008 at St.Theresa Infant Jesus Church Kolopis Penampang. For me, this is the sign of Lord’s doing to safe guard his children.

Lessons of Life

There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall.

When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree! was ugly, bent, and twisted. The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.

The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.

The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

Moral:Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches
and better times are sure to come some time or later

Hello adik - adik,

Sepanjang musim Prapaska ini, ada baiknya kita menumpukan perhatian untuk cuba mengubah sikap kita yang kurang memuaskan. Sepanjang Prapaska ini, kita mohon kepada Tuhan agar dapat mengubahkan sesuatu yang terbaik dlm diri kita.

Musim Pertobatan ini, kita beralih kepada Yesus. Dalam pembacaan - pembacaan injil yang kita dengar sebelum ini memberitahu kita bahawa pertobatan bukan sahaja menjauhkan diri dari dosa tetapi ia juga bermaksud beralih kepada Yesus Kristus kerana Yesus adalah cintakasih, belas kasihan, pengampunan, kehidupan, kegembiraan dan keamanan!

Injil menyuruh kita untuk bertobat dah percaya kepada Khabar Gembira Tuhan. Bertobat bermaksud menjauhkan diri dari dosa tetapi yang lebih penting adalah percaya kepada Khabar Gembira kerana dengan ini kita menumpukan perhatian kepada Yesus Kristus. Injil juga memberitahu kita bahawa pengikut - pengikut Yesus Kristus yang pertama - Petrus, Andreas, Yakobus and Yohanes - bukan sahaja menjauhkan diri dari dosa tetapi mereka juga telah menjauhkan diri dari dunia. Mereka meninggalkan perniagaan mereka, perahu menangkap ikan mereka, jala mereka dan bapa mereka untuk mengikuti Yesus. Alangkah baiknya kalau kita dapat mencontohi mereka kan? Tetapi bagi manusia modern masa kini adalah mustahil dapat menyerahkan segalanya seperti mereka. Bagaimanapun sekurang - kurangnya kita melakukan yang terbaik pada diri kita, pada keluarga dan rakan - rakan. Selebihnya kita serahkan pada Tuhan. Dia yang berkuasa. Yang penting sekali kita hendaklah yakin dan percaya akan Dia.

Adik - adik, hidup kita ada kalanya penuh kenangan dan ada masanya pula kesedihan melanda. Setiap kali kita mendengar siaran berita yang menyedihkan dan berita yang tdk sepatutnya berlaku seperti kemalangan jalan raya, pembunuhan ngeri, perompakan, tragedi banjir kilat dan sebagainya. Bayangkan ya adik - adik, bagaimana perasaan keluarga yang terlibat dalam kes ini. Tentu mereka mengalami tekanan mental yang merisaukan. Mengkin ada di antara kita adalah jiran mereka atau rakan mereka. Apakah yang sepatutnya kita buat untuk membantu mereka terutama sepanjang Prapaska ini?

Kita sebagai umat kristus seboleh - bolehnya mendampingi mereka selalu. Membawa mereka untuk bertenang dan memberi dorongan serta berdoa untuk mereka juga membagi - bagi mereka apa yang kita miliki. Musim Prapaska adalah memperbaharui kesetiaan kita kepada Kristus di mana ia membimbing kita ke arah perdamaian dan meninggalkan sikap mementingkan diri sendiri.

Oleh itu, Auntie sarankan bagi adik - adik yang belum kenal jiran sebelah ada baiknya pergunakan masa ini untuk memulakan perkenalan dan seterusnya mengeratkan persaudaraan, berkongsi iman dengan mereka. Tentu jiran adik itu merasa diperlukan

Kata Seindah Bahasa itulah kata pepatah.

Pengalaman....

Kadang-kadang kita tdk tahu terjadi sesuatu di sebalik keinginan kita. Seperti contoh; kita tumpangkan kawan kita ke tempat kerja (tapi dia bayar kita bulan-bulan) & balik dari tempat kerja. Kadang-kadang tu pula suruh kita singgah bank sebab dia nak ambil duit. Kita ikut aje kehendak dia.

Ada satu hari tu, tiada elektrik di office so, kita pun keluar buat marketing dan tidak dapat balik office untuk ambil mereka ... kita minta mereka naik bas dalam masa yang sama keluarga kita pula ditimpah kemalangan. Ops lupa pula kita kasitau mereka 4 orang. Seorang dari mereka, menghantar sms kepada kita merayu kita ambil mereka ... tapi kita cakap ada keluarga kita kemalangan tapi mereka nak juga kita ambil. Bila kita tiba di office untuk ambil mereka ... mereka pula tak nak ikut ... mereka cakap ada transport ambil.

Apa perasaan kalian (pembaca) dengar macam itu?

Jangan sekali-kali anggap orang yang kita tumpang itu sebagai driver walaupun kalian membayar tambang setiap bulan.

Mungkin perkara sedemikan belum pernah terjadi pada mereka ... dan mereka tidak memahaminya ... tetapi sebagai orang yang dewasa biarlah kita berfikiran cara orang dewasa.
